A very special lodge in Switzerland

Hello everyone!
We are in November and here in Ottawa is already quite cold!
Soon it will start to snow and this has inspired me to write a post dedicated to the
winter.
Today I want to take you to a very special place in Switzerland, located just below the
slopes of the Swiss Alps, lies Villa Vals, a villa of 160 square meters fully excavated
in the hillside.
Designed by the architect Peter Zumthor, can accommodate ten people in six
bedrooms.

A portion of the facade is formed by a large glass wall that has access to the terrace
of 60 square meters.
From here we can see the beautiful green or snowed fields and enjoy the Nature.

Of the six rooms, three are on the first floor.

The kitchen, library and lounge are located overlooking the terrace.

The house uses no fossil fuels, heating and ventilating are done thanks to the green energy
from a dam located nearby.

If you want to have fun this winter you know where to go. Find 9 friends and enjoy
this unique place.

See you soon!
